Rage Against The Dying Of The Light

As the universe heads into heat death and the cessation of all things, one human is left alive and trying to escape the void. Little do they know though that they're about to be interrupted by the spirits of long dead humanity. Envious of the last human's life, they're here to stop you from escaping. Will you manage to escape? Or will you join the rest of humanity in the void?

The game features 3 different weapons that can be bought from various signs around the map, but be warned you can only hold one weapon at a time. The game can be played as an endless wave based zombie shooter, or you can save up your points and escape, the choice is yours!

Made for Godot Wild Jam #69. This is my second time participating in a game jam, and this was a lot of fun! The gun models were created by Doctor Sci3nce here on Itch, and the music is from Ovani Sound. Everything else was created by me during the jam! This was a great learning experience, and while the game is not the best out there I'm very glad I got the chance to make it!

Small side note: the UI was made originally for windowed mode. You can toggle to windowed mode in the settings menu in the bottom right corner. During full screen gameplay the UI will be a little hard to read at times. Lesson learned for next game jam I suppose.

Most of the controls are remappable, with the exception of looking around. I ran out of time on the jam before I was able to figure out how to make those remappable. There is not controller support unfortunately.
